Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 rounded tsp mustard powder
- 1 level tsp Maldon salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
Steps
- Step 1
Crush the garlic and salt together in a mortar and pestle
- Step 2
Add the mustard and several good grinds of pepper, and work these into the garlic and salt
- Step 3
Then, mix in the vinegar, followed by the oil, and when everything is amalgamated, pour the whole lot into a small screw-top jar until you are ready to serve the salad (give the jar a good shake before using).
