Recipe Of The Week – Homemade Seeded Crackers
These crackers are a brilliant snack to make for days when you know you will have no time to stop and take a breather. These can be easily carried and stored at your convenience.
Serves 6
Ingredients
- 210g sunflower seeds
- 75g linseed
- 85g raw buckwheat
- 40g chia seeds
- 1 tsp salt
- 350ml warm water
Method
- Place all ingredients in a bowl, stirring occasionally for approximately 20 minutes or until all water is absorbed
- Preheat oven 140C fan. Line 2 baking sheets. Press the mixture firmly into a thin layer on both baking sheets, ensuring there are no gaps
- Bake for approximately 1 hour or until golden and crisp
- Remove from the oven and leave to cool before breaking into large pieces
